Q: Can I recall domestic shipments?

A: Yes, there is a chance that a delivery attempt may need to be made before they will allow for a recall.


Q: Can I recall international shipments?

A: Depends, recalling international shipments needs to be handled on a case by case basis. If the shipment is on the flight or on the truck to the flight, we cannot recall the shipment until after it clears customs. If we can catch it early there is a small chance we can get it recalled.


Q: Can I reroute a Domestic shipment?

A: Yes you can. It is important to note that doing this will cause the delay as well as a there will be a reroute fee, there is also a possibility that there will be an additional transportation fee added to the cost. 


Q: Can I reroute an International shipment?

A:  Yes, as long as the address for the requested reroute is in the same country as the original address.


Q: Can I change the shipping speed after an order has shipped?

A: Generally it is not possible to change the service commitment of the shipment once it has been shipped. A service fee may be required if the carrier is able to process the request. 


Q: Can I update the consignee, Importer of Record or Incoterms on the commercial invoice (CI) after an order has shipped?

A: Yes, as long as the update is made while the shipment is in transit. If the shipment delivered, no updates can be permitted on the CI.  


Q: How do I obtain my ECCN?

A: Begin by searching for your item on the CCL Index. When you find a potential ECCN, you must then read through the ECCN entry on the CCL before determining if your item fits into the parameters of that ECCN.


Q: What is my EORI number?
A: The EORI number (Economic Operators' Registration and Identification number) is an operator identification number that is valid throughout the European Union and replaces the German customs number.


Q: What is my CCATS number?
A: Commodity Classification Automated Tracking System (CCATS) is an alphanumeric code assigned by the United States Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) to products that it has classified under the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).


Q: Can a partner/reseller be the Importer of Record so that they can pay for duties/taxes, but they're not the recipient?

A: Yes, they can be the Importer of Record as long as we are provided with their information including address, name, phone, email, country, and VAT ID. We will also screen them in our system.
